Why consume locally?

Partner: JAK Banken

What do young people want?

Kim Jakobsson, Magnus Åkerlind

Sharing insights on the young generations’ hopes for a sustainable future.

Partner: Ungdomar.se

What is beef good for?

Jan Wärnbäck, Anna Jamieson

Decoding the values of pasture beef – what good meat buys you.

What is in your water?

Micke Wiström, Anna Forslund

Bottled water contains excessive hidden energy from oil – but how can restaurants ensure tapwater qaulity?

LUNCHSEMINAR: Who creates the food system?

Carina Brydling, Ulrika Brydling, Systrarna Brydling

Every step on the way counts in a truly sustainable meal

Who is travel good for?

Mayumi Narongin, Jan Lundin, Cecilia Wibjörn

Your travels have an impact on the local community – what do you want your impact to be?

Partner: Schyst resande

What’s next for Skärgården?

Lisa Svensson Miljödepartmentet,  Lennart Gladh Östersjöexpert WWF, Jan Pfister Grinda Wärdshus, Cecilia Wibjörn Skärgårdsstiftelsen/Green Islands

How can increased tourism and environmental values grow together?

Transnational opportunities?

Lisa Pelling, Veronica Nordlund

Multiple nationalities and transational living is part ofthe future – learn about an economic activity 3 times the global foreign aid.

LUNCHSEMINAR Who chooses the menu?

Jakob Holmström och Anton Bjuhr, Restaurang Gastrologik

New gastronomic logic: what is on the menu when the chef chooses ingredients based on to the daily conditions?

If you’re an individual, professional, or student already advanced in engaging around sustainability – the Pro Dialogues are for you.

The Futureperfect Pro Dialogues is an opportunity to explore collaboratively the new ways of turning the challenges of creating a sustainable society, into the adventure of creating and communicating value in concrete, contemporary ways.

In the morning Dialogues you will be part of a small group exploring one or two targeted themes of sustainable living, society and business, driven by reflections from invited experts.

In the afternoon, the FutureLab experience invites you to create an active discussion on the basis of your own experiences (Today) and your expectations and needs for the coming years (Tomorrow) – before rejoining the Dialogues with additional Experts, to discuss new collaborative models (Together).

The lunch is part of the ticket price and is prepared by world-class chefs: Chefs Jakob Holmström and Anton Bjuhr of Gastrologik restaurant, receiver of Sweden’s most recent Michelin star, and Carina and Ulrika Brydling, Chefs at Åhléns City top floor restaurant.

The Pro Dialogues in the 2011 and 2012 delivered high quality experiences to partners of all types, with this kind of feedback:

“I would like to thank you on behalf on Karlstads Kommun for your initiative and efforts regarding Futureperfect 2011. It was a truly impressive and inspiring agenda, not to mention the unique atmosphere, and I can definitely see a need for us municipality officials, both from Karlstad and elsewhere, to get exposed to these kinds of forums on a regular basis.” Petter Karlsson, Karlstad Kommun

“I think the Futureperfect concept is really exciting, just getting so many interesting people together is big enough, but doing it with a positive and progressive idea on future sustainability, that ís huge.” Donnie Lygonis, KTH Innovation

Conversations will be held in English, unless all present prefer Swedish language, to maintain international accesibility.
